Virtual Take Action Night with RESTORE: SAAM

Every individual has a right to be treated with dignity and to have resources that enable them to truly exercise reproductive decision making – including folx who are incarcerated. Incarceration undermines reproductive autonomy, especially for those who identify as BIPOC or LGBTQ. Criminal justice policies often put this group at risk of being unfairly convicted. Gina is a RESTORE Counselor for Genesee and Orleans County and will share the work that she does to support incarcerated individuals. Debora, Senior Director of Public and Community Affairs will talk about legislation focused on justice for incarcerated individuals. Attendees will receive guidance on how they can offer support.
